Sound＆Chair’24

Sound & Chair '24” is a beer festival themed on records, music, and craft beer.

At “Sound & Chair '24,” visitors can enjoy more than 50 kinds of craft beers from 16 breweries located in the Tama River basin with a wide variety of food while enjoying live performances by DJs and artists in a “chairing” style, where outdoor chairs are spread out in an open space by the river to enjoy drinks. On Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays, there will be a record market featuring labels and record stores, a market displaying attractive lifestyle goods, and other local events such as “Fluffy Tama Land” with a large collection of air playground equipment for kids and “Candlescape Kawasaki,” which will light approximately 3,000 candles.

Please enjoy a relaxing time with a craft beer in one hand and quality music in an open natural environment close to the heart of the city.

Beer Ticket

Craft beer at this event will be available only in exchange for beer tickets. Beer Tickets can be purchased at the ticket booth on the day of the event, but we recommend purchasing in advance due to the possibility of crowds.

1. 6 Beer Tickets: ¥3,900 (9 oz x 6 cups / 19 oz x 3 cups)
2. 10 Beer Tickets: ¥6,500 (9 oz x 10 cups / 19 oz x 5 cups)

• Beer Tickets will be handed out at the Ticket booth at the event site on the day of the event.
• Please present the electronic ticket screen to the staff at the ticket booth via the link in the e-mail sent to your registered e-mail address after ticket purchase or your ZAIKO account from which you purchased the ticket.
• Beer Tickets are available anytime during the event period, Friday, November 1, 2024 - Sunday, November 10, 2024.
• Tickets will also be sold on the day of the event, but the sales office may be crowded.
• Please note that no changes or refunds will be accepted after ticket purchase.
• No refunds will be given due to artist cancellations or changes.
• No refunds will be made in the event of cancellation due to inclement weather, natural disasters, or unforeseen accidents. Please be aware of this policy in advance.

Notice

• This event will be held rain or shine (except in case of rainstorms or natural disasters). If the event is unavoidably cancelled at the discretion of the event organizer, information will be posted on the official website and SNS as needed.
• Parking spaces near the event site are limited. Public transportation is recommended.
• Please follow the rules for garbage separation and dispose of garbage in the correct trash cans. We ask for your cooperation in keeping the event site clean. Please take any garbage you bring to the event site with you.
• Restrooms are available at the event site, but are limited in number and are expected to be crowded. Please be forewarned in advance.
• Smoking is allowed on the site only in designated smoking areas.
• Please bring your own outdoor chairs. For those who do not have one, rental chairs are available for 500 yen/day, but quantities are limited.
• Please keep your pets on a leash. Please be careful not to cause problems with other participants or other pet owners. Pet owners are responsible for disposing of their pets' excrement.
• Please be aware that there is a possibility that staff members or press may take photos or videos at the event site. Please be aware that any photos or videos taken may be posted on Sound & Chair's official website, SNS, or various media.
• Please note that the content of the stages and each content may be subject to change due to unavoidable circumstances.
• Please refrain from excessive drinking. Drunken persons may be forcibly asked to leave the event site. Please understand this beforehand.
• Drunk driving and underage drinking are strictly prohibited by law.
• The event site will be outdoors. Please take care of your own health and prepare for changes in weather and temperature.
• The organizer, event site, and performers will not be liable for any accidents, theft, etc. that occur inside or outside the event site.
• Recording during the artist’s performance is prohibited.
  In the stage area, leisure sheets and other rugs, tarps, parasols, sunshades, tents, and other items that block the view of the stage area are prohibited, as they may disturb other visitors. Please confirm the stage area at the information desk on the day of the event.
• Leaving personal belongings unattended, leaving them unattended, or taking up space in the event site is prohibited. If there is no user for a long period of time, it will be regarded as a prohibited act and discarded. Excessive occupation of space with sheets, luggage, etc. is also prohibited.
• No tents are allowed to stay overnight on the event site.
  Bicycles, skateboards, kickboards, and personal mobility devices are not allowed on the event site.
• Fireworks and other explosives, generators, bottles, other dangerous items, items prohibited by law, and items that may disturb other visitors are prohibited. The use of fire outside of designated areas is also prohibited.
• If any prohibited items are found inside the event site, you will be asked to take them out.
• Please do not jump into the river as it is very dangerous.
• Please do not damage property, park in the open, park on the street, make noise early in the morning or late at night, or engage in any other activities that may disturb neighbors.
• Those who do not follow the instructions of the attendants or who behave in a manner that disturbs other visitors will be asked to leave the event site immediately. In such cases, there will be no refund of the fee.
